Motorola has launched their most Anticipated phone, Moto G 3rd gen. Moto G is known for starting the budget segment with the Moto G 1st Gen. Now you can replace your old Motorola phone and get the Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen for a good amount of discount.
Currently, If you own Moto E first gen, you can get a discount of Rs. 1500, for Moto E( Second gen) you will get Rs 2000 of discount whereas with Moto G 1st Gen and the 2nd gen, you will get whooping discount of Rs. 3000 and Rs.4000. The only term is that the phone should have the display intact.
The Moto G comes in two colours, black and white, and the back cover can easily be changed to 10 different colours. This time the back of the is rubberized and has a linear texture which you see in the picture above. The Moto G 3rd Generation comes in 2 variants, one with 8GB internal storage and 1GB RAM and the other one with 16GB Internal Storage and 2GB RAM. The Price difference is around 40$ in US while just Rs. 1000 in India.
A 5-inch 720p display adorns the front of the smartphone, and it’s protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The Snapdragon 410 provides computing power with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 306 GPU inside. You get LTE support, as well as the obligatory Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone boots the latest Android 5.1.1 too, so no surprises here either.
The Motorola Moto G (3rd gen) measures 142.1 x 72.4 x 11.6mm, though the thickness does go down to 6.1mm towards the edges. It weighs 155g, and Motorola have upped battery capacity to 2,470mAh, compared to the 2,070mAh of the predecessor.
Perhaps what’s most important in terms of hardware, is the IPx7 certification, which makes the handset capable of surviving after being submerged in up to 1m of water for up to 30 minutes.
